Service Description
In this 8 hour workshop, you will learn how to weave a berry basket with step-by-step instructions. This workshop is a great introduction to stake and strand basketry techniques for beginners. You will make a base, stake up the basket, learn how to weave the sides with a 3 rod wale, then complete a trac border and add a simple pegged handle. All materials and tools are included, and tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided (including a gluten-free option and plant milks). A berry basket is ideal for foraging for wild berries or collecting your garden berry harvest. It's also the perfect size for a young child to use. You need to bring your own packed lunch and wear warm, comfotable clothing which you don't mind getting messy. This workshop is suitable for everyone except those with hand/joint mobility issues.

Cancellation Policy
All tickets are fully refundable up to 14 days before the class minus a £5 processing fee. After this time, you will receive only half of the ticket price, unless the ticket is resold, in which case you will receive a full refund minus a £5 processing fee. You can reallocate your ticket to a friend or family member for no charge, but please confirm by email the name of the person attending. The class will only go ahead if 4 people can attend, if it is cancelled, you will receive a refund with as much notice as possible.
