I weave baskets, sculptures, bird feeders and other decorative items for the house and garden from my studio in Abernethy. Having been a gardener for many years, I was looking for a change, and wanted to work with sustainable, natural materials. I became intrigued with willow weaving and started to attend regular basket weaving classes at Poldrate Arts and Crafts Centre in Haddington to learn the craft, and spent time in the Highlands and Yorkshire refining my sculpting techniques. I take on commisions, attend craft markets and sell online at Perthshire Artisans. I enjoy sharing my love of weaving by teaching workshops at a number of venues, including my own studio in Abernethy.
